6.6kW Solar System (5kW Inverter)

From $3,296 inc GST, fully installed*
Average Annual Savings: $1,000

This system is the most common solar system you will see in Australia.

This system will cover the average Australian’s household electricity needs during the day throughout the year.

*The starting price is dependent on the below requirements and allowing for Jinko Solar Panels and a Sungrow Inverter.

Starting Price Based On

Single storey house, with a colorbond roof that is under a 27 degree pitch.
Single phase property, with spare spacing in the switchboard.
Inverter will be configured for zero export in line with network requirements.
Property is located in Greater Melbourne, Ballarat or Geelong.
Solar can be fit over a maximum of two roof faces.
STC Rebates to be claimed by Advanced Energy Solutions in 2026 ($1,404).
Price is including the Solar Vic Rebate ($1,400), and the Solar Vic Interest Free Loan ($1,400). Click here to see if you are eligible.
Total Price is $7,500inc GST before any rebate and loan deductions.

6.6kW Solar System (5kW Inverter) and a 12.8kW Battery

From $12,100 inc GST, fully installed*
Average Annual Savings: $1,800

This system is the same as the above, but with a battery added. It still satisfies the 5kW max feed in requirements – but the size of the battery, along with the solar, is usually enough to cover the average Australian’s household electricity needs, and fully eradicate your power usage.

*The starting price is dependent on the below requirements and allowing for Jinko Solar Panels, Sungrow Inverter and a Sungrow Battery.

Possible Extras & Rough Costs

Every home is different, and sometimes a few site-specific factors can slightly increase the cost of your solar install. These aren’t hidden fees – just common extras that may apply depending on your property.
