EXCELLENT Based on 11 reviews Posted on Candice UrbanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jim came around for an inspection very quickly, and I appreciated how thorough and knowledgeable he was. He took the time to assess our specific solar needs and provided honest, practical recommendations. I highly recommend for anyone considering solar.Posted on Greg HookeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From the moment Jim came to our house in Box Hill to discuss our solar needs/heat pump situation to the final thank you handshake, we were both so impressed by his professional attitude, passion and ability to explain succinctly what we were about to enter into and how we would benefit. We could not be happier with the final outcome and everything was done so well, including clean up, removal and all the official paperwork. Nothing was ever a bother and Jim answered every question with a smile. Overall, great quality workmanship. Thanks Jim and co.Posted on Brodie DoolanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jim and his amazing offsider Installed a 5kW system on our house back in 2022 which has not missed a beat, we have not had to pay an electricity bill since installing which is amazing for a family of 5. Jim also performed some other electrical and CCTV installations at our house and has always been a professional outfit to deal with. Would highly recommendPosted on Sam TaitTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic communication and service from start to finish. Honest, efficient, and excellent work. Everything was easy, smooth and seemingly effortless. Highly recommend!!Posted on Sara ToshTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very rarely leave reviews, however - the guys at advanced energy solutions installed solar panels for me and I was incredibly impressed throughout the entire process. The efficiency and professionalism of Jim and Ryan was outstanding. Their trustworthy nature was very reassuring and they kept me very informed during the entire installation. The team were so helpful and knowledgeable when answering all (and a lot of!) my questions. Super fast installation and I'm delighted with the results!Posted on Daniel GaleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ryan from Advanced Energy Solutions took the time and offered numerous solar solutions to my enquiry. He answered all of my naive questions in layman’s terms and was very easy to talk to. He always called when he said he would and offered a very competitive system.Posted on Sarah STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jim gave me really good advice and explained very clearly how much money I will be saving, and did a neat install. Thanks again!Posted on Matthew PowellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very great quality workmanship on these solar panels , great job !! Have exceeded expectationsPosted on Jemma KeevesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team at Mason Solar made the whole process of installing our solar panels very smooth from understanding the best solar for us, the rebate system and how to optimise the solar to get the most out of it. Clear communication and professional service. Would highly recommend!
Advanced Energy Solutions installs energy-efficient heat pump hot water systems for Victorian homes that want to reduce hot water running costs, move away from gas and make better use of solar power.
Starting final price, including GST, after eligible VEECs, STCs and the Solar Victoria Hot Water Rebate are applied.
Heat pump hot water can be a strong fit for homes using a lot of hot water, especially where the household wants to reduce gas usage or pair hot water with solar production during the day.
The advertised starting price assumes the customer is eligible for the $1,000 Solar Victoria Hot Water Rebate and assigns the available VEECs and STCs to the installer. If eligibility changes, certificates are retained by the customer, or non-standard installation work is required, the final price may change.
A heat pump does not heat water the same way a standard electric element or gas system does. It transfers heat from the surrounding air into the water, which can make it a much more efficient way to run hot water at home.
Heat pumps use less energy than many traditional electric or gas hot water systems because they transfer heat instead of generating all heat directly.
By using electricity more efficiently, a heat pump can help lower hot water running costs over time, especially in homes with higher hot water use.
Switching away from gas hot water can reduce household emissions and support a cleaner, more efficient energy setup.
A properly sized heat pump hot water system can provide dependable hot water while helping the household use energy more efficiently.
Pairing a heat pump with solar can make a lot of sense. Heat pumps run on electricity, and when they are timed to operate during strong solar production, you can use more of your own generated power instead of relying only on grid energy.
If you are comparing solar, batteries and heat pumps together, AES can help you look at the whole energy setup instead of treating each product as a separate bolt-on.
Use our instant solar, battery and heat pump quote tool for a fast starting estimate. It takes around two minutes and gives you a better starting point before booking a consult.
Get an Instant Solar, Battery and Heat Pump QuoteA heat pump can still be worth comparing if you already have solar, but the best outcome depends on your existing system size, household hot water usage and when the unit is set to run.
Start with the instant quote tool or contact AES with your property details and hot water requirements.
We review your household size, existing hot water system, access, electrical requirements and whether solar is part of the plan.
We confirm your installed price, rebate assumptions, VEEC and STC assignment, and any site-specific requirements before the job is booked.
Your heat pump hot water system is installed, checked and set up so the household can start using more efficient hot water.
The terms below explain what is included in the advertised starting price and when extra costs may apply. A boring but necessary section, because rebates apparently require a legal nesting doll.
The advertised starting price of $3,000 inc GST applies to eligible homes and includes supply and standard installation of the heat pump water heater. The starting price before incentives is $5,076 inc GST.
The price excludes any required electrical work, such as switchboard upgrades, wiring modifications or additional circuits.
Customers may be eligible for a $1,000 Solar Victoria Hot Water Rebate, which has been factored into the advertised starting price.
The advertised starting price assumes that the Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates, known as VEECs, and Small-Scale Technology Certificates, known as STCs, are assigned to the installer.
These incentives are government schemes designed to reduce the upfront cost of energy-efficient appliances. If a customer chooses to retain the certificates, an additional cost will apply.
The estimated savings of up to $500 per year are based on replacing an older gas storage water heater in a household of three or more people.
Actual savings depend on water usage patterns, gas prices and the efficiency of the previous system.
Standard installation assumes the unit is replacing an existing outdoor gas, storage or instantaneous water heater. It also assumes easy access to the installation site with no major modifications required.
Plumbing connections must be compliant and not require relocation. Additional costs may apply if non-standard installation work is required, such as extra pipework, relocation of the unit or complex site conditions.
The heat pump water heater comes with a manufacturer’s warranty covering parts and labour, subject to standard terms of use.
Customers should follow the manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations to support performance and longevity. This offer is valid for an IHEAT/ISTORE PASHW015-270LD-FL02-R290.
This offer is available for residential properties only in Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo and Greater Melbourne, and is subject to stock availability.
The price and rebate eligibility are subject to change based on government incentives and supplier pricing.
Our advertised starting price is $3,000 inc GST for eligible homes. This assumes a $5,076 starting installed price before incentives, with the $576 STC deduction, $1,000 Solar Victoria Hot Water Rebate and VEEC allowance applied.
Heat pump hot water is often best suited to households with three or more people, higher hot water usage, or homes wanting to reduce gas use and move more energy usage to efficient electric appliances.
Yes. A heat pump uses electricity, so it can pair well with solar when the system is timed to run during the day and use more of your own solar generation.
Yes. AES can help compare solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and combinations of all three through the instant quote tool and consultation process.
No. The $3,000 figure is a starting advertised price for eligible homes after the assumed rebates and certificate assignments. Site conditions, existing plumbing, electrical access, switchboard work, location, product availability and eligibility can affect the final installed price.
