  1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 We provide online monitoring to continually assess the productivity of your installed solar system, through Advanced Energy Solutions. This includes from any of our installation partners.

1.2 If your installed system ceases to function due to an installation fault as determined by our directors, we will pay you back the savings you missed out, if the installation is still within:

  • The estimated payback period of the system, or
  • Five (5) years from the date of installation, whichever period is shorter.

1.3 This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.

  1. Conditions for Reimbursement

2.1 Customer Notification: You must notify us promptly if you believe your system is not working correctly. Notifications must be made through verifiable communication methods, such as email, to qualify for savings reimbursement.

2.2 Evidence of Notification: To process any reimbursement claims, we require evidence of your notification (e.g., an email timestamp or other records).

2.3 Determination of Fault: Reimbursement will only be provided if the fault is determined to be due to an installation error on our part. Any issues arising from components such as faulty inverters or solar panels that are not a result of our installation will not be eligible for reimbursement.

  1. Exclusions and Limitations

3.1 Customer Responsibility: It is your responsibility to monitor your system’s performance alongside our online monitoring and notify us promptly of any issues. We will not reimburse savings if:

  • You failed to inform us that the system was not functioning.
  • The issue was unrelated to our installation (e.g., a manufacturer defect in system components).

3.2 Repair Obligations: While we will repair any faults covered under this warranty, reimbursement of savings is limited to installation errors only and requires compliance with notification procedures outlined in section 2.

3.3 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to events outside of our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather events, acts of God).

  1. Process for Claiming Reimbursement

4.1 Submit your claim in writing, including all necessary evidence of the issue and your initial notification.

4.2 Allow our team to investigate and determine the nature of the fault. If the issue is verified as an installation fault, reimbursement of missed savings will be processed promptly.

4.3 Reimbursements will be calculated based on the estimated savings you would have received during the non-functional period.
